If a traveler has an existing core fare (Blue Basic / Blue / Blue Plus / Blue Extra) ticket, they can request for an upgrade to Mint at the airport office/airport check-in counter; a fee would be levied for the upgrade. TrueBlue points cannot be redeemed for the upgrade; TrueBlue can only be used to purchase new Mint tickets and not to pay for the upgrade of core fare tickets.
JetBlue core fare (Blue Basic / Blue / Blue Plus / Blue Extra) passengers, who wish to upgrade to Mint, can do so only at the airport and the payment of the additional charge/fee cannot be made with TrueBlue points. The option to upgrade is on a first-come, first-served basis; it is subject to availability.
